Performance Management Dashboard

  • CapStat was the program Washington DC Mayor Adrian Fenty set up to measure and improve performance of the local DC government.  

  • One part of that program was an advanced performance management tracking dashboard that was intranet-based and featured real-time data feeds from the city's data warehouse.
     
  • The system was considered very innovative and we were invited to do a presentation of it at a gathering of city management executives at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government.
