Consulting Example: 
Federal Grants Management Program

  • The District of Columbia government received $240 million dollars in federal grants as part of the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

  • Those grants came with an unprecedented level of reporting requirements to show how effectively the recipients were in effectively, efficiently and rapidly spending these grants to get the most long and short term economic benefit.

  • We built new processes, structures and tools for District government agencies to comply with these ARRA rules.  

  • At the center of that infrastructure, we developed a distributed web-based database built on the Quickbase platform to centralize reporting.
